The museums shop
The museumsshop is open in all of the museum's opening hours and can be visited without buying admission.
Guided tours
We offer guided tours in English. A guided tour lasts approx. 45-60 minutes. Our recommendation is a maximum of 25 people per guided tour.

Tuesday-Friday within opening hours: 800 DKK
Additional charge in weekends and outside opening hours: +500 DKK

Tailor your own tour
Vendsyssel Museum of Art arranges specially organized guided tours for schools and institutions as well as for companies, art associations and other private groups. We offer guided tours of both our special exhibitions and permanent collections. In addition, we also arrange city walks with a focus on the city's many sculptures.
Note: Guided tours must be booked well in advance of the visit. In case of no-show or cancellation with less than one day's notice, the museum reserves the right to charge for the tour. If you want more information about tours, you want to book a tour, or just get inspiration for a visit to the museum, we are happy to provide ideas and guidance.
Getting to
Vendsyssel Museum of Art
By car
Pay attention to road work. Due to the rebuilding of Hjørring town center, some roads are not accecable. if you use Vendelbogade, and then Kraghsvej to acces the car park, you should be fine.
By foot
If you are walking or cycling, we recommend using the city's small passages with acces from Strømgade or walk through the beautiful P. Nørkjærs square from Østergade.
Parking:
There is 3 hours free parking at the museum at P. Nørkjærs Plads, as well as alternative parking spaces at Sct. Olai Plads ca. 3 minutes’ walk (150 m.) From Vendsyssel Museum of Art.
By train or bus:
Hjørring railway station (Banegårdspladsen 6) is located approx. 9 minutes’ walk (600 m.) From Vendsyssel Museum of Art. From here there are train and bus connections to Aalborg, Hirtshals, Frederikshavn and Skagen.
