Poul Anker Bech

Landscapes with a 'twist'

Poul Anker Bech (1942-2009) moved back to Vendsyssel in 1974.

Here, he found inspiration in the surrounding landscape. His scenes are not renditions of one specific site, but rather a synthesis of various elements, which te observer is free to combine to gain an individual interpretation of the scene.

Walking in the footsteps of Poul Anker Bech is about viewing the landscape with a 'twist'. Like no other, he combined recognizable reality with another twisted reality belonging to the world of art.
